About Us
Founded in 2001 as a 170(b)(1) Public Charity organization, the Asheville Parks & Greenways Foundation (APGF) supports the City of Asheville’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department. We offer financial support, volunteerism, and advocacy. Previous and existing funding and volunteer projects include the downtown Hanging Baskets Program, Reed Creek Greenway, Reid Center, and the Dr. Wesley Grant, Sr. Southside Center.
