About Us
Founded in 2000 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, the Asheville Parks & Greenways Foundation (APGF) supports the City of Asheville’s Parks and Recreation Department. We offer financial support, volunteerism, and advocacy. Previous and existing funding and volunteer projects include the downtown Hanging Baskets Program, Reed Creek Greenway, Reid Center, and the Dr. Wesley Grant, Sr. Southside Center.
